Executive - Laboratory
We are a leading tea export company in Sri Lanka, renowned for supplying premium blended tea in both bulk and value-added formats to global markets. As part of our continued growth and commitment to excellence, we are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated professional to join our Laboratory Team as an Executive- Laboratory.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory reagents and standard solutions required for chemical analysis.
- Receive, register, label, and organize incoming tea samples for testing.
- Prepare tea samples for laboratory analysis according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform sample weighing for chemical quality tests.
- Measure and record Absorbance (Abs) values using a spectrophotometer.
- Conduct moisture content analysis and record results accurately.
- Enter laboratory test results into records and maintain accurate documentation.
- Arrange, number, and identify samples to ensure complete traceability.
Qualifications
- BSc Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biological Science, Chemistry or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Previous laboratory experience will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of laboratory quality systems, GLP and ISO 17025 will be an advantage.
- Good computer literacy and basic knowledge of laboratory documentation.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala.

Remuneration
An attractive remuneration package will be offered. Salary is negotiable and will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
