Senior Cashier / Cashier

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Handle internal and external payment collections accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts and process customer transactions with a high level of accuracy.
• Manage petty cash transactions and IOU settlements in line with company procedures.
• Perform daily cash reconciliation and maintain accurate cash records.
• Prepare daily cash deposits and collection summaries.
• Ensure the security and proper handling of cash at all times.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide professional and courteous service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (Commerce Stream preferred).
• Full or part qualification in AAT is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar cashier or finance-related role.
• Strong numerical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
