Senior Construction Manager

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and best practices to ensure operational excellence.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
• Provide leadership and performance management to Project Managers, Site Managers, and construction teams.
• Monitor project performance (budgets, schedules, risks, and resources) and implement corrective actions where needed.
• Manage key stakeholders including contractors, consultants, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure effective collaboration and compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement, support business growth through project planning and tender reviews, and report performance to executive management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s is an advantage.
• 12–15 years of construction management experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale projects with responsibility for cost, quality, safety, and schedule.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, contract administration, risk management, and project controls.
• Good understanding of HSE, quality systems, procurement, and building regulations.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Chartered Engineer) are an advantage.
