Lead Engineer – Information Security

Role Summary

N-able is seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to spearhead enterprise-grade security solutions. This leadership position requires a blend of advanced technical proficiency and the ability to act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping them build resilient digital infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical workshops, architecture planning sessions, and high-level solution presentations for clients.
• Act as a technical consultant during the pre-sales phase to design robust security frameworks.
• Develop comprehensive end-to-end architectures covering identity, cloud, network, data, and endpoint protection.
• Convert organizational business needs into actionable technical proposals and implementation plans.
• Manage technical validation processes, including proof of concept and proof of value initiatives.
• Partner with sales and delivery departments to secure enterprise-level contracts.
• Provide mentorship to engineering staff to foster technical growth within the company.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years in cybersecurity engineering, consulting, or pre-sales roles with proven leadership experience.
• Deep technical knowledge in areas such as Zero Trust, SIEM, IAM, EDR/XDR, and Cloud/AI security.
• Demonstrated ability to handle RFP responses and design complex enterprise solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate intricate technical details to various stakeholders.
• Preferred: Certifications like AWS/Azure Security, CCNP Security, or CEH; experience in MSSP environments; and knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK or ISO 27001 frameworks.
