Lead - Media & Communication (Full-Time | Hybrid)

ESDF is seeking a dynamic and creative professional to join the Minority Professional Hub (MPH) and lead its Media & Communication portfolio.
What You'll Lead
- Lead initiatives to strengthen visibility, public presence & communication.
- Develop & implement media, communication & social campaign strategies.
- Design professional visuals for research, advocacy, events & communication materials.
- Manage social media platforms & digital content.
- Create graphics, infographics, videos, reels & multimedia content.
- Produce documentaries, interviews & human interest stories.
- Translate research & policy findings into accessible public communication.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, Media, Development Studies, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of relevant professional experience in media, communications, digital content, or social campaigns.
- Proven experience in communication & media strategy development and implementation.
- Strong skills in graphic design, social media, video production & multimedia.
- Excellent creativity, storytelling, writing & visual communication skills.
- CSO, NGO or Think Tank experience is an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines.
- Note: This position is open to Muslim applicants.
- Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English and Tamil is mandatory; Sinhala will be an advantage.
