Senior Payroll Executive
Key Responsibilities
- Process monthly payrolls of various clients accurately, efficiently and within designated deadlines in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Reconcile and correct payroll discrepancies and errors prior to submission to the client.
- Compile annual statements and schedules for year-end APIT return filings.
- Verification of statutory payment schedules and generate online payments.
- Professionally handle payroll-related queries and coordinate smoothly with client representatives.
- Ensure the absolute confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll information.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Qualified / part qualified in Human Resource Management, Accounting or Finance.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in managing the complete payroll process, preferably within a BPO company or an accountancy firm.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll procedures and statutory compliance, including EPF/ETF, PAYE, and Sri Lankan labor regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in payroll software and advanced Excel capabilities along with competency in basic mathematical calculations.
- Highly motivated, independent with a strong sense of commitment and attention to detail along with the capability to identify errors quickly in complex datasets.
- Age below 35 years.
