Senior Site Engineer

Role Summary

Grand Apartments is looking for a Site Engineer with end-to-end experience in managing apartment construction — from foundation through to final finishing. You’ll be responsible for leading the site team, ensuring all work is carried out to plan, and maintaining quality across all stages of the build.

Salary/Benefits

• Salary: LKR 160,000 – 200,000 (based on experience, with performance-based increments)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day site operations from structural work to finishing
• Supervise subcontractors, site supervisors, and labour teams
• Ensure all work is as per structural and architectural drawings
• Coordinate with in-house engineers, MEP contractors, and consultants
• Maintain construction quality, site safety, and timeline compliance
• Report progress and issues to the Project Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 8 years of experience in apartment construction projects (full cycle)
• Solid understanding of both structural and finishing processes
• Confident in managing a site team and handling technical challenges
• Ability to read drawings, coordinate with MEP, and manage quality on site
• Strong technical knowledge in setting out, reinforcement, and structural work
• Strong leadership and communication skills
