Requirements/Qualifications

Strong GDS Knowledge

You must be confident in at least:

• Amadeus
• Galileo / Travelport
• Sabre

Practical Airfare & Ticketing Experience

Not deep IATA theory — real-life working knowledge:

• Understanding penalties and tax changes
• Cabin upgrades / downgrades
• Rerouting on the same airline
• Basic fare rule checks
• Avoiding ADM-risk mistakes

Key Responsibilities

Operational Tasks

• Price itineraries
• Issue tickets
• Handle reissues (date changes, reroutes on the same airline)
• Process refunds
• Issue and refund EMDs
• Manage queues and resolve PNR issues

Senior Leadership Responsibilities

• Support and guide junior ticketing staff
• Check accuracy before ticketing
• Teach GDS best practices
• Maintain high standards & consistency
