Assistant Manager - Learning & Development

Role Summary

The Assistant Manager – Learning & Development is responsible for developing the annual training calendar and ensuring the effective execution of training programs across the organization. The role holder supports the Front-End HR & Administration Lead in conducting training needs analyses and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure continuous learning and development. The role is also responsible for overseeing the administration of the Performance Management System (PMS) and supporting talent management processes within KAG, ensuring the effective implementation of performance and succession management practices. In addition, the job holder is responsible for carrying out all assigned duties and responsibilities in compliance with the organization's Health & Safety policies, guidelines, instructions, and protocols, while promoting a safe and healthy working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of the annual and monthly training calendar and training program schedule, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and approved budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external training providers to plan and deliver executive training programs according to the approved schedule.
  • Execute Learning & Development initiatives driven by the Group HR team, including coaching, mentoring, leadership development, and other capability-building programs.
  • Oversee the administration of the Performance Management System (PMS) and support the effective implementation of talent management processes, ensuring timely completion of performance cycles and talent review activities.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or MBA in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in Learning & Development (L&D) and Talent Management, with proven exposure to designing, implementing, and evaluating learning initiatives and talent management processes.
