Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization's Learning & Development strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Prepare annual training plans and budgets.
- Develop learning roadmaps for retail stores, distribution centers, and support functions.
- Conduct organization-wide training needs assessments and identify competency gaps.
- Collaborate with business leaders to translate strategic priorities into learning initiatives.
- Design targeted learning solutions and structured learning pathways for all levels, including Area Managers, Store Managers, Department Supervisors, Cashiers, Customer Service, Warehouse/Logistics, and Head Office staff.
- Develop leadership programs, succession pipelines, and coaching/mentoring frameworks.
- Oversee training delivery in areas such as Customer Service Excellence, Operational Excellence, Product Knowledge, Compliance, and Health & Safety.
- Measure training effectiveness, utilize learning analytics, and maintain compliance tracking.
- Develop digital learning content and e-learning platforms.
- Promote knowledge-sharing, employee engagement, and culture-building initiatives.
- Manage relationships with external training providers and negotiate service-level agreements.
- Ensure cost-effective training solutions and integrate learning with performance management processes.
- Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and career pathways.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Education, or a higher diploma in a related field.
- Professional qualification in HR/L&D (CIPD, SHRM, CHRM, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development, preferably within the retail, FMCG, or multi-site business environment.
