Assistant Lecturer - Quantity Surveying & Construction

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, engage students, and support academic and professional development within the academic team at SCOT Campus.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience: Fresh graduates and candidates with an interest in starting a career in academia are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior teaching or academic exposure (e.g., tutoring, demonstrating, or research support) and exposure to Pearson BTEC HND and City & Guilds qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong interest in academic teaching and research supervision.
    • Ability to deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to support a collaborative, student-centred learning environment.
    • Willingness to work on weekends, with two weekdays off.
