Assistant Lecturer - Quantity Surveying & Construction

Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, engage students, and support academic and professional development within the academic team.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management, or a closely related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with an interest in starting a career in academia are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Prior teaching or academic exposure (e.g., tutoring, demonstrating, or research support) will be an added advantage.
• Exposure to the Pearson BTEC HND and City & Guilds qualifications will be considered a plus, but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions (training will be provided where necessary).
• Engage in academic teaching and research supervision.
• Support a collaborative, student-centred learning environment.
• Willingness to work on weekends, with two weekdays off.
• Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills.
