Role Summary

Assetline Finance PLC (AFIN) is the flagship company of the Assetline Group and the financial services arm of the David Pieris Group of Companies. We are seeking a talented Legal Officer to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the Company and make applications and submissions in courts and tribunals.
Draft Plaints, Answers, Petitions, and other legal documents to be filed in courts, tribunals, and arbitration centres on behalf of the Company.
Draft and review service provider Agreements, MOUs, and other notarial documents, and provide title recommendations for the Company.
Advise on legal matters related to the Company's daily operations and attend administrative meetings and special assignments as directed by superiors.

Requirements

Attorney-at-Law with a minimum of 3 years of experience. An LLB or a higher qualification would be an added advantage.
Notary License to practice in both Sinhala and English languages within the Colombo Judicial Zone.
Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills, with a thorough understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Sinhala.
Experience in the financial sector would be an added advantage.
