LEGAL OFFICER

WHAT YOU WILL BE OVERLOOKING

• Draft a wide variety of legal agreements and assist Head of Legal on corporate legal issues and business matters.
• Provide commercial legal support to all departmental projects and job functions.
• Monitor the maintenance of records required
• Attorney-at-Law and Notary public
• Company Secretarial knowledge is essential for this role
• Registered company Secretary and experience in handling secretarial matters
• Assist in the development of guidelines, policies, procedures.
• Ensure (internal & external) compliance with laid down guidelines, policies and procedures; investigate issues of non-compliance as may be required.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• An Attorney-at-Law preferably with a graduate degree in law
• Notary public and preferably registered company
• A minimum 2-years' experience in the same field.
• knowledge of corporate law; commitment and enthusiasm in the delivery of the organization objectives
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil will be an advantage
• An understanding of general and specific Company and commercial law
• Energetic and enthusiastic
