Role Summary
The Department of Animal Production and Health is seeking a qualified Legal Officer (Grade III) to join the Executive Service Category on a permanent and pensionable basis.
Responsibilities
- Handling legal actions and coordinating with the Attorney General's Department.
- Managing legal activities related to agreements, acts, and ordinances.
- Drafting bills, circulars, and regulations.
- Providing legal counsel on court procedures and investigations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Degree in Law from a recognized University.
- Must have taken oaths as a Lawyer of the Supreme Court.
- Minimum 3 years of active professional experience as a Lawyer or in a legal capacity within a state institute.
- Age between 21 and 45 years.
- Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka with excellent character and physical fitness.
