Logistics Operations Manager
Role Summary
Bernard Tours is seeking a dynamic and result-driven Transport Manager to lead transport operations. We are looking for a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a passion for service excellence, and a proven track record in managing transport operations and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all daily transport operations to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of clients and services.
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize transport schedules, routes, and resources for maximum efficiency.
- Manage and lead drivers and transport staff, ensuring discipline, performance, and professional conduct.
- Ensure a high standard of luxury vehicle handling, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Maintain accurate vehicle documentation, logs, inspections, and compliance with all regulations.
- Monitor fleet performance, control costs, and implement improvement strategies.
- Build and maintain a strong client contact base and develop new business opportunities.
- Act as the key point of contact for VIP clients, corporate accounts, and partners.
- Handle client feedback, complaints, and ensure service excellence at all times.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare transport reports and provide regular updates to management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in transport management, preferably in the travel, tourism, or luxury transport industry.
- Proven experience in luxury vehicle handling and managing high-end transport services.
- Established client contact base with a proven ability to maintain and grow business relationships.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent knowledge of transport operations, routes, regulations, and compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Office and transport management systems.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Valid driving license.
