Role Summary

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the positions of Machinist and Painter/Blaster at Colombo Dockyard PLC, the leading ship repair and shipbuilding facility in Sri Lanka.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Machinist: Must have passed G.C.E. (O/L) with Credit (C) passes for Mathematics and Science.
• Painter/Blaster: Must have passed 05 subjects at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination.
• Must possess a certificate in the relevant trade from NAITA or CGTTI.
• Possession of an NVQ-4 certificate in the relevant trade field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant trade.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the shipbuilding or heavy engineering industry.
• Age must be 35 years or below.
• Must be in good physical health.

Employment Terms

• Initial appointment will be on a contract basis.
