Maintenance Foreman

Reporting to: Assistant Engineer / Engineering Department
Job Role / Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team to ensure smooth and uninterrupted factory operations.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance activities and ensure timely completion.
- Carry out and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic instrumentation issues.
- Support the Assistant Engineer in maintaining machinery, equipment, and production facilities.
- Coordinate with the Production Department to attend to machine breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Monitor the availability and proper usage of spare parts and maintenance materials.
- Assist in machine installation, modification, improvement, and other engineering-related projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or safety-related areas will be an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Previous experience in supervising or leading a maintenance team will be a strong advantage.
- Experience in food manufacturing, production machinery, or factory maintenance will be an added advantage.
