Management Accounting Executive

Role Summary

Bark Ornament (Pvt) Limited is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Executive Management Accountant to join their team. The role focuses on finance, cost management, and analytical work.

Requirements

• Undergraduate in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related field.
• Part qualification in CIMA, CA or CMA will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in management accounting, cost accounting or manufacturing finance.
• Experience in product costing within a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of costing techniques, budgeting, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, PivotTables and data analysis).
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate product costing for all manufactured and imported products.
• Calculate material, labour, and overhead costs to determine product cost and profitability.
• Develop and update standard costing models and review cost variances.
• Analyze production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Work closely with the Production, Purchasing, Stores, and Sales teams to collect costing data and ensure accuracy.
• Prepare costing sheets for new products and customer inquiries.
• Monitor raw material prices and assess their impact on product costs and margins.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support inventory valuation and stock reconciliation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Recommend improvements to costing methods, reporting and internal controls.
