Role Summary
Ensure the effective oversight and strategic direction of the Investigations function and train document verification processes across all US flight operations, guiding and elevating the performance of the investigations team to safeguard the company's operational credibility and uphold its reputation at every level.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee investigation quality and strategic direction, escalating critical cases to leadership, while ensuring compliance to company law, government, and regulatory authorities.
- Take overall responsibility for the planning, allocation, optimization, and operational requirements for the Investigations and Document Checking functions, ensuring resources are effectively utilized and all budgetary allocations are managed within approved bounds.
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for prosecution related and Disciplinary Inquiry (DI) cases, ensuring compliance with policies and legal standards.
- Lead, monitor, and manage the Investigations and Document Checkers teams, setting performance expectations and building a motivated, high-performing workforce.
- Report on investigation outcomes, verification performance, and compliance risks to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with division heads to align investigation activities with organizational objectives and policies.
- Responsible for the annual budget for Safety and Service Trainings, ensuring adequate manpower and equipment while accounting for business continuity plans and future company requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 6 years overall work experience, in either of the following areas related to Human Resources (Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Compliance/ Legal/ Investigation) and out of which 4 years in Managerial Capacity or similar in relevant discipline.
- OR: Attorney-at-Law of Sri Lanka with 6 years overall work experience, in either of the following areas related to Human Resources (Employee Relations/ Industrial Relations/ Compliance/ Legal/ Investigation) and out of which 4 years in Managerial Capacity or similar in relevant discipline.
- Age to be not more than 40 years as at 02nd October 2026.
- Be a SriLankan Citizen.
