Manager of Raw Material Procurement

Role Summary

Beira Brush (Private) Limited is seeking a self-motivated, dynamic individual with a high degree of drive, enthusiasm, and excellent communication skills to join the manufacturing facility in Ingiriya.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential suppliers of raw materials.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with production, planning, and logistics teams to forecast material needs.
• Ensure timely procurement of raw materials to prevent production delays.
• Work with quality assurance teams to ensure sourced materials meet required specifications and regulatory standards.
• Ensure that all sourcing activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements and maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, contracts, and reports for audit and reporting purposes.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Qualified in G.C.E. Advanced Level and holds professional qualifications relevant to the position.
• Work experience in sourcing will be considered an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, perform under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong skills in negotiation, cost analysis, and vendor management.
• Must be prepared to work with a high sense of responsibility and demonstrate flexibility in working hours to achieve set targets.

Manufacturing facility in Ingiriya.
