Executive - Non-Motor Underwriting (Marine & Takaful)

Role Summary

LOLC General Insurance PLC is seeking a dynamic and technically competent professional to join our Non-Motor Underwriting team, with specific exposure to Marine Underwriting and Takaful Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and underwrite Marine and Takaful risks in line with company guidelines and risk appetite.
• Assess risk exposures, determine appropriate terms, conditions, and pricing.
• Maintain underwriting discipline to ensure portfolio profitability and sustainability.
• Liaise with brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders on underwriting matters.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Relevant 1-2 years of experience in Non-Motor Underwriting.
• Proficiency in Tamil language will be a distinct advantage.
• Strong technical knowledge of underwriting principles and risk assessment.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
