Mechmar Cochran Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, continues to remain as one of the market leaders for industrial boilers in Sri Lanka. The company is established 30 years ago, and has a boiler population of over 300 boilers to date; catering to most of the major industries in Sri Lanka and surrounding countries. We are searching for qualified young energetic Engineer/s to work with our esteem organization.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in Mechanical Engineering Projects/Services or related field.
• Age around 24 - 45 years.
• Degree/Diploma in Engineering (NDT equivalent), or higher level technical certification.
• Knowledge of understanding, creating, and modifying engineering layouts, technical manuals, P&ID diagrams, instrumentation & electrical diagrams, and design skills of Auto-CAD & Solidworks.
• Good analytical skills on customer requirements, product design, and technical standards; completing technical calculations; preparing project proposals, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Sound knowledge in both Mechanical/Electrical engineering concepts related to thermodynamics, production, and industrial machinery.
• Involve in customer site visits for both projects & services, breakdown rectification, and communicate with customers for new/current project & service agreements.
• Preparing projects/services schedules, quotation, reviews, approve employee & sub-contractor service scheduling, work orders, and material records.
• Assist in the diagnosis of problems, and configurations, instrumentation knowledge, and evaluation of necessary services and repairs.
• Obey good company and customer relation ethics along with good communication, computer, and teamwork skills.
• Industrial Boiler experience or similar will be an added advantage. (Minimum 1-2 years preferable).
• Fresh graduate candidates from universities, and institutes are welcome with solid trainee industry experience.
