Mechanical Engineer - Plumbing & PHE

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for design of PHE & FF systems; ensuring that these systems meet applicable standards & codes.
• Preparation of design drawings, shop drawings, coordination of drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Preparation of engineering estimates, costing, and tendering.
• Providing technical support to project staff regarding projects or issues related to PHE & FF systems.
• Project planning, coordination & supervision of project activities & correspondence.
• Ensure all paper works submission (e.g., Vendor Approval Submission, Project Reports, and Schedule submission) and works executed on sites are according to specification, drawings, and project requirement.
• Work closely with the procurement team and suppliers.
• Support for the Project procurement - Take off/ Technical Compliance & price comparison/ MAR preparation / RFO & MR.
• Proceeding/ Call Technical quotations from the suppliers.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2-4 years experience in a similar nature in the field of Building Service Engineering.
• Fluency in MS Project, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written skills in English.
• Should have the experience to identify the materials used in the projects related to building services (MEP).
• Willingness to travel overseas as when required.
