Assistant Engineer - Mechanical

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Assistant Engineer – Mechanical to join our team and manage engineering projects efficiently.

Location

Mabima, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects from planning to completion.
• Handle project scheduling, execution, and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal departments.
• Prepare project plans, technical reports, and documentation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Supervise workshop activities and provide technical support.
• Identify and resolve project-related technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and company procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) techniques and methods.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in project management or project handling.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
