Mechanical Engineering Specialist

Role Summary

Javana Graphics Pvt. Ltd. is a company manufacturing educational toys and stationery items under the 'Panther' brand, located in the Ratmalana Industrial Estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production processes, identifying and resolving issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Check pneumatic systems and electrical wiring; troubleshoot PLC and electronic circuits.
• Manufacture and assemble mechanical parts.
• Optimize workflow and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform routine maintenance on printing machines to ensure smooth operation.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with printing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve common operational issues with machines and equipment; perform minor repairs with the technical team.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the printing team to identify and resolve machine-related issues.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma/HNDE qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (added advantage).
• Familiarity with basic mechanical principles, machine components, and use of measuring tools.
• Five years of technical experience in a factory environment with two years at a supervisory level.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word, and E-mail).
• Age below 35 years.
