Role: Fitter

Requirements/Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Passed G.C.E. (O/L) with Credit (C) passes for Mathematics and Science OR passed G.C.E. (A/L) in Mathematics/Science/Technology streams.
• Vocational Training: Must possess a certificate in the relevant trade from NAITA, CGTTI, or a recognized technical institute.
• Additional Qualifications:
  • NVQ Level 4 certificate for the Fitter trade.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant trade.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the shipbuilding or heavy engineering industry.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with certificates in Millwright Fitter, Diesel Mechanic, or Automobile Mechanic.
• Age and Health: Must be 35 years of age or below and in good physical health.

Employment Terms

• Initial appointment will be on a contract basis for one year.
