Mechanical Foreman
Colombo Dockyard PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier shipbuilding and ship-repair facility, invites aspiring professionals to embark on a dynamic career path as a Mechanical Foreman. Candidate Profile
- Full qualification in NDT / HNDE / NDES in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
- Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, rotating equipment, valves, pipelines and other industrial mechanical equipment will be an added advantage.
General Requirements
- Educational Background: Passed GCE (A/L) in Physical Science stream
- Age: Below 35 years
- Language Skills: Strong command of English (written, spoken, and comprehension)
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in Computer Operations
- Attributes:
- Highly motivated and energetic.
- Physically fit and able to thrive in demanding environments.
- A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
The selected candidates will be appointed initially on a Fixed Term Contract Basis for a period of one (01) year.
