Assistant Engineer (Mechanical | Maintenance)

Role Summary

Textrip (Pvt) Ltd, a leading Sri Lankan manufacturer of premium resistance bands, is seeking a proactive Assistant Engineer to support our Head Office/factory in Bentota.

Key Responsibilities

• Support special projects and supervise maintenance activities.
• Implement maintenance & inventory management systems.
• Minimize machinery downtime & attend work orders promptly.
• Develop energy-saving methods & manage the mechanical workshop.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance with production.

Requirements/Qualifications

• HND/Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Industrial Engineering or BET in Mechanical engineering.
• 1–4 years experience in production/maintenance engineering.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance & inventory management.
• Strong problem-solving, communication & supervisory skills.

Location

Head Office/factory in Bentota.
