Technical Officer (Mechanical)

Primary Objective
To provide technical support and ensure the effective planning, coordination and monitoring of mechanical works and equipment on site, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination and execution of mechanical works on site, civil, etc.
- Review drawings, specifications and method statements related to mechanical activities.
- Monitor and inspect mechanical installations and equipment for quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers on mechanical matters.
- Prepare reports, daily progress updates and maintain project records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Support the project team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Maintain and update as-built drawings and equipment documentation.
Qualifications
- Diploma or HND / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 2-5 years' experience in mechanical works in construction projects.
- Good knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.
- Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (basic).
- Good team player with a proactive attitude.
