Role: MLT

Join our team and play a key role in supporting accurate laboratory testing and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• G.C.E. Advanced Level in Bio Science stream.
• Diploma / Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
• Valid SLMC registration will be an added advantage.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital laboratory.
• Good knowledge of laboratory procedures, safety standards and quality practices.
• Ability to work accurately, responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare, label and handle patient samples according to procedures.
• Maintain laboratory records, reports and documentation properly.
• Operate and assist in maintaining laboratory equipment.
• Follow infection control, safety and quality assurance guidelines.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other departments regarding test-related matters.
• Assist with other laboratory duties assigned by the supervisor.
