ROLE SUMMARY
The Lanka Hospitals is seeking dedicated Medical Officers to support high-quality patient care across ICUs (Neonatal, Cardiac, Surgical, Medical), Radiology, OPD, TMT, and Gyn & Obs units. You will work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary clinical environment alongside experienced professionals committed to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide safe, timely, and effective patient care in the assigned unit.
- Support consultants and multidisciplinary teams in clinical management.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, documentation, and patient notes.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, emergencies, and unit requirements.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, relatives, nurses, and medical teams.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- M.B.B.S qualification.
- Registered with the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).
- Previous clinical experience in relevant hospital settings will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Good command of English and Sinhala; knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
