Role Summary

The Project Coordinator supports the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of MEP construction projects. The role involves coordinating project documentation, procurement tracking, subcontractor communication, scheduling support, site coordination, reporting, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Coordination & Administration: Coordinate daily project activities, assist Project Managers, monitor progress, maintain project logs (RFIs, submittals, inspections), and organize project meetings.
• Scheduling & Progress Monitoring: Prepare and update schedules (Primavera P6/MS Project), track manpower and productivity, and prepare progress reports.
• Technical Coordination: Coordinate with MEP engineers, architects, and consultants; review shop drawings and material submittals; support technical issue resolution.
• Procurement & Material Coordination: Coordinate material requisitions, track delivery status, and monitor site inventory.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain project records, document control systems, and prepare management dashboards.
• Commercial & Contract Support: Assist in progress billing, quantity verification, variation tracking, and subcontractor payment records.
• Health, Safety & Quality Coordination: Ensure HSE compliance, coordinate safety documentation, and support QA/QC inspections.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Education: Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 4-5 years of experience in MEP construction project coordination.
• Core Competencies: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, time management, attention to detail, and team collaboration.
