Role Summary

We are a well-established and rapidly growing apparel accessories manufacturer and sourcing partner. We are seeking a passionate, innovative, and results-driven Sourcing & Development Merchandiser to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and develop apparel accessories, trims, and raw materials from local and international suppliers.
• Liaise with customers, overseas suppliers, and internal teams to manage product development from concept to sample approval.
• Identify new suppliers, materials, and innovative products to meet customer requirements.
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and ensure cost competitiveness.
• Coordinate sampling, product development, and technical approvals within required timelines.
• Follow up on material sourcing, sample submissions, and development schedules.
• Monitor global fashion trends, new materials, and sustainable product innovations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
• Work closely with merchandising, production, quality assurance, and logistics teams to ensure successful product launches.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Textile Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in sourcing, product development, or merchandising within the apparel accessories or garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of apparel trims, accessories, materials, and international sourcing practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple development projects and work independently.
