Job Title: Merchandiser
Company: Footwear Retailer Limited (Part of the Softlogic Group of Companies)
Job Role
- Analyzing market trends, consumer preferences, and sales data to select merchandise for retail and wholesale operations.
- Identifying and establishing relationships with suppliers and vendors to source products.
- Negotiating pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable deals.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to align assortments with promotional and marketing strategies.
- Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.
Requirements/Qualifications
- A Degree/Diploma in Merchandising/Procurement/Supply Chain/Marketing (SLIM/CIM/BCCT) along with adequate computer literacy.
- 2-3 years of experience in Merchandising/sales/Marketing/Retail.
- Good command of English with analytical and presentation skills.
- Age between 24-35 year.
