Milk Sourcing Manager

Role Summary

Renuka Foods PLC is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-oriented professional to lead the Milk Procurement function for their dairy processing company in Sri Lanka.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure a sustainable supply of high-quality raw milk.
• Lead and manage milk procurement operations across the island.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with dairy farmers, societies, and collection centres.
• Expand the milk supplier network and improve daily collection volumes.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor milk quality parameters, supplier performance, and procurement costs.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Finance, and Supply Chain teams.
• Drive dairy farmer development programmes focused on productivity and sustainable practices.
• Prepare procurement budgets, forecasts, management reports, and performance analyses.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional procurement teams.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Dairy Science, Agriculture, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification or MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in milk procurement or dairy supply chain management, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems is an added advantage.
