Mining Engineer

Role Summary

Access Engineering PLC is seeking a Mining Engineer for the Central Expressway Project III – Phase 2.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of work experience, including at least five (5) years in a similar capacity.
• Team player with positive interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours when necessary.
• Familiarity with modern construction methodologies and industry technologies is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and monitor quarrying, excavation, and rock extraction activities to ensure a continuous supply of construction materials.
• Prepare and execute drilling and blasting plans in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Ensure that the quality and quantity of aggregates, rock, and other construction materials meet project requirements.
• Monitor quarry operations, equipment utilization, and production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, mining permits, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Prepare production reports, blasting records, and other technical documentation.
