Nursing Assistants and Caregivers
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistants and Caregivers to provide essential care and support to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily activities (Bathing, dressing, and feeding).
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes to nurses.
- Helping with patient mobility and transfers.
- Maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Documenting patient care activities.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Clinical Expertise: Patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, wound care.
- Leadership & Management: Team supervision, staff managing, resource management, ensuring quality care.
- Communication: Effective with multidisciplinary teams, clear documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Analytical skills, adapting to changing patient needs, handling emergencies.
- Professionalism: Attentional to detail, ethical practice, continuous professional development.
- In-Service Training: Organizing and facilitating education and development activities to staff maintenance.
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Nursing.
- Registration: Active registration with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
- Experience: More than 10 years of clinical experience, demonstrated responsibility, prior experience in government hospitals is a plus.
- Specialized Certifications: May include Family Nurse Practitioner, Occupational Health, etc.
