Oil Palm Plantation Manager

Role Summary

The Manager - Palm Oil Mill will be responsible for the mill's overall operations, including planning, production, and delivery. The role involves developing key strategies for company success, managing production budgets, and overseeing maintenance and transport costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure suitable performance management techniques and hold workers accountable.
• Ensure the team meets production targets.
• Implement preventative measures to maintain equipment.
• Encourage appropriate health and safety management and train staff members.
• Develop, update, and review SOPs for all effluent treatment operations and environmental aspects, including liquid waste.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (MBA is an added advantage).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to make decisions quickly.
• Effective team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to handle labor in a highly unionized environment.
