Role Summary

Nelna Agri Development (Pvt) Ltd is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead growing agribusiness operations. This role requires a commercially astute leader with strong financial expertise and a people-driven leadership style to oversee plantation operations and the distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve the company's business objectives.
• Oversee and drive the performance of Plantation Operations and Distribution Centres, ensuring operational excellence and efficiency.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, cost optimization, and profitability initiatives across the business.
• Develop and execute business strategies to drive sustainable growth and operational improvements.
• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional teams while fostering a high-performance culture.
• Ensure effective governance, compliance, risk management, and operational controls.
• Build a collaborative, people-centric work environment that promotes engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field. A professional qualification (CA, CIMA, ACCA, CMA) or an MBA will be a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive management experience, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong finance background with proven expertise in budgeting, financial planning, cost management, and business performance improvement.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site operations, preferably including plantations, agriculture, manufacturing, FMCG, or distribution.
• A people-driven leader with the ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
• Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
