Role Summary

The Capital Maharaja Group is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Director / Manager - Operations to lead the operations team at Harrisons Shipping (Private) Limited. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership, ensuring efficient delivery of freight forwarding and logistics services while driving compliance, customer satisfaction, business growth, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee end-to-end logistics and freight forwarding operations.
• Ensure compliance with Customs regulations, international trade requirements, and licensing procedures.
• Develop strategies to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
• Build and manage relationships with clients, shipping lines, Customs, transport providers, and international agents.
• Oversee pricing, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
• Drive innovation through digital technologies and modern freight management solutions.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• A qualification in Finance will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in an operations management role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Sound knowledge of freight operations, Incoterms, Customs procedures, and international trade compliance.
• Strong proficiency in logistics software and freight management systems.
• Essential Skills: Strong leadership, communication, people management, negotiation, networking, client relationship management, high integrity, commercial judgment, and a strategic, results-oriented mindset.
