Role Summary

NDB Securities, a leading player in Sri Lanka’s capital market, is looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as Intern – Operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment driving operational excellence in stockbroking services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in CDS account opening and maintenance, including documentation and data verification
• Support operational activities related to IPOs, margin trading, and corporate actions
• Help ensure accuracy in KYC documentation and compliance requirements
• Assist in processing rights issues, dividends, and other market transactions
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operational workflows
• Maintain proper records and support reporting requirements
• Perform other administrative and operational tasks as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications

• Undergraduate or recent graduate in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong interest in capital markets and stockbroking operations
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic understanding of financial markets will be an advantage
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
