Business Operations Manager

Role Summary

A dynamic, enterprising Business Operations Manager to be the operational linchpin of the Commonwealth Digital Financiers Network (CDFN). The successful candidate will manage member enrollment, team recruitment, and banking network-focused initiatives, while engaging stakeholders such as CEOs, industry leaders, regulators, and policymakers. This role demands a versatile leader with strong marketing and brand-building expertise, supported by sales acumen, public relations experience, and a working knowledge of banking and IT.

Key Responsibilities

• Full Ownership of Business & Marketing Development: Act as project lead for all business and marketing initiatives, with accountability for CDFN's growth trajectory.
• Member Onboarding: Drive member onboarding as the single highest priority workstream.
• Practical Implementation of Membership Benefits: Actively expand and implement the practical benefits of membership.
• Monthly Business Planning & KPI Execution: Create monthly business plans built around clearly defined KPIs and execute against them.
• Outreach Programme Development: Design and work closely with outreach programmes to ensure organic and efficient network growth.
• Industry Contact Development: Establish, maintain, and grow a personal network of industry contacts across banking and finance.
• Commercial Mindset: Bring commercially focused thinking to every initiative, prioritizing revenue impact and sustainable growth.

Location

The job will primarily be based in Colombo.
