Currently, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Lecturer for Elements of Econometrics and Lecturer for Research Project in Digital Innovation modules under the Faculty of Economics, Management, Finance and Social Sciences Programme.
Job Description
- Explain econometric concepts, statistical techniques, data analysis, and research methodologies in an accessible and engaging manner.
- Guide students in using relevant statistical and analytical software.
- Support students in identifying research problems, developing research questions, reviewing literature, and selecting appropriate research methodologies.
- Incorporate emerging digital technologies and innovation trends into research and teaching.
- Provide additional guidance and support to students who require assistance with quantitative analysis and research methodology.
- Keep up to date with developments in econometrics, research methods, data analytics, and digital innovation.
- Deliver the allocated teaching hours in accordance with the academic timetable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Digital Innovation, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of quantitative research methods and econometric techniques.
- Experience in research supervision and academic teaching.
- Knowledge of statistical/econometric software and data analysis tools.
- Research publications or ongoing research experience will be an added advantage.
