Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately in the Out Patients Pharmacy.
- Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained for all drugs.
- Carry out monthly physical stock verification and submit stock discrepancy, short-expiry, and non-moving medicines reports to the In-charge.
- Make indent orders to pharmacy stores to maintain sufficient stocks for prescriptions.
- Provide medication counselling to patients and ensure error-free dispensing of the correct drug, strength, dosage form, and quantity.
Qualifications
- SLMC registration as a Pharmacist.
- Overall 4 years' experience.
- Effective communication skills in English and Sinhala.
- Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.
- Good team player.
- Good computer literacy.
