Applications are invited from qualified, energetic, and dedicated professionals for the following positions at the Colombo Colts Cricket Club:

Conditioning Trainer | Physiotherapist

Conditioning Trainer

Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract for two (2) years with a six-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-performance strength and conditioning programs tailored to cricketers across various age groups.
• Fitness Monitoring: Conduct regular fitness testing, monitor player workload, and maintain detailed performance metrics.
• Player Development: Collaborate with coaches to optimize on-field agility, endurance, speed, and injury-resilience.

Qualifications:

• Degree or recognized diploma in Sports Science, Physical Education, or certified Strength & Conditioning credentials (e.g., CSCS, ASCA, or equivalent).
• Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with professional or premier-level cricket teams/athletes.
• Strong knowledge of strength training, conditioning principles, and injury prevention.

Physiotherapist

Contract Duration: Fixed-term contract for two (2) years with a six-month probationary period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, treat, and rehabilitate acute and chronic sports injuries among club players.
• Matchday Coverage: Provide immediate pitch-side medical care and first-aid during training sessions and competitive matches.
• Injury Prevention: Implement pre-habilitation protocols and educate players on recovery techniques, mobility, and load management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy (BPT) with valid professional registration/license to practice.
• Registered as a physiotherapist with the Sri Lanka Medical Council.
• Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of clinical and field experience in sports physiotherapy, ideally within cricket or elite team sports.
