Role Summary

John Keells Properties is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer - Planning to join the team at VIMAN, contributing to the creation of innovative and sustainable living spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare master programmes, labour histograms, and plant & machinery requirements.
• Prepare monthly progress reports, assess site progress, predict potential delays, and implement mitigation measures/catch-up programmes.
• Prepare and maintain project cash flows and cost trackers.
• Review design coordination drawings, liaise with design engineers to mitigate obstructions, and prepare method statements and engineering documents.
• Ensure site work complies with relevant codes and standards.
• Liaise with design engineers and the drafting team to issue shop drawings and maintain a drawings registry.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in the construction industry, with proven experience in managing construction activities, site operations, and project execution.
• Proven experience in construction planning, project coordination, progress monitoring, and site management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, method statements, and relevant industry standards.
