PLC TECHNICIAN

Industrial Automation & Control Systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Read, understand & modify Ladder Logic diagrams
• PLC I/O identification and testing
• Installation and troubleshooting of sensors, switches & actuators
• Troubleshooting control panels & machine electrical systems
• HMI operation, configuration & basic programming
• VFD / inverter setup and troubleshooting
• Electrical control circuit & fault finding
• Machine automation and control-system commissioning
• Assist with machine installation & on-site commissioning
• Diagnose and solve PLC/electrical faults at customer sites
• Prepare basic electrical/control documentation

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates with any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• NVQ Level 4 / 5 in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation or a related field
• NDT / Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Automation or related engineering field
• Diploma / Certificate in PLC & Industrial Automation
• Recognized PLC training/certification with practical knowledge
• FRESH GRADUATES ARE WELCOME!

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

Required / Advantage:

• PLC programming & troubleshooting
• Ladder Diagram / Ladder Logic
• Digital & analog I/O
• Sensors and actuators
• HMI (Human Machine Interface)
• VFD / inverter
• Relays, contactors & motor control
• Electrical control circuits
• Industrial automation systems
• Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron or Delta PLC knowledge is an advantage
