In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests using the swimming pool facilities while maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of the pool area. You will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by providing professional lifeguard services, maintaining safety standards, and supporting daily poolside operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor pool activities and ensure guest safety at all times
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including water rescue, First Aid, and CPR when required
- Enforce pool safety rules, procedures, and hygiene standards
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall presentation of the pool, pool deck, sunbeds, umbrellas, towels, and surrounding areas
- Conduct daily checks of pool and safety equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns
- Maintain First Aid and rescue equipment and required safety records
- Provide timely and professional assistance to guests with poolside requests and inquiries
- Support poolside activities, events, and special functions while ensuring safety standards are maintained
- Comply with company safety, hygiene, and operational standards
Professional Qualifications and Experience:
- Age between 20 and 35 years
- G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) or equivalent qualification
- Valid Lifeguard Certification from a recognized authority
- First Aid and CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in a hotel, resort, water park, or recreational facility is an advantage
- Strong swimming and water rescue skills
- Good command of English with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
