General Coordinator

Location: Tissamaharam Branch

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee curriculum implementation and teaching quality; provide instructional coaching and professional development
• Monitor student progress and learning outcomes; support assessment practices and marking standards
• Coordinate academic planning, timetabling, branch examinations, and resource allocation
• Ensure institutional policies and quality standards are consistently maintained across departments
• Support continuous improvement of instructional delivery through regular departmental liaison

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of the school
• Supervise, guide, and support academic and administrative staff
• Ensure the effective implementation of the curriculum and school policies
• Maintain high standards in teaching, learning, and student discipline
• Build effective relationships with parents and the wider school community
• Oversee school operations, staff performance, and student progress
• Support institutional goals and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Age between 30 – 55 years
• Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field
• Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a school environment
• Strong knowledge of academic administration and school operations
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Strong leadership, organization, and decision-making skills
• Responsible, dynamic, and results-oriented
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
